Thinking Clearly

You have to think clear to be able to do day-to-day tasks.

Some scholars of Islam (Imranhosein.org) advice to read Holy Quran twice in a day to be able to think vividly. “There is so

filth coming on our brain on daily basis that there is a need for clear thinking.” Secondly for various types of students,

studying Islāmic or technical knowledge, we have to be pious to be able to gain knowledge, both internally and externally.

Internal knowledge is gained by light of Allah. By pondering and having oneself’s cleanness (Tazkiyah), one is able to gain

knowledge, which was not known to him, before. In my opinion, this is called ‘Internal Eye of a believer’. By this thing one

(believer) is able to see with reality. As reality and appearances are often quite opposite. This form of (knowledge and)

and eye have increasingly importance as world is moving towards more and more disorderliness (Scientists say it entropy).

Second form of knowledge is external knowledge. We have to often contend with this form of knowledge, if we don’t put a

effort (by Allah Subnanao Wa’Ta’la’s permission) to acquire the other one. This form of knowledge mostly include knowledge,

which is now-a-days Scientific and Technical in nature. Acquiring knowledge is compulsory to both men and women (in Islam).

Some Scholars classify it as Voluntarily Knowledge. If some of the people of community acquire it, then obligation of whole

of the community is fulfilled. If no one acquires it, then whole of the community is sinful, like Namaz-e-jinaza (Funeral

Prayer).

May Allah Subhanao Wa’ta’la guide us to more of the straight path. Ameen.
